Our homes are our abodes.  They're great places to hang out and provide shelter.  We do live in the Pacific Northwest which is notorious for its finicky weather.  Consequently, the weather as well as regular use and wear and tear all take a toll on our homes.  That means there are always constant repairs to be done. 

I lived aboard a sail boat for two years and repairs weren't readily attended to they just got worse very quickly.  Our homes are the same.
